Settings Overview
Open Settings by clicking the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar. Settings are organized into sections in the left navigation panel.
Account
Profile
Your personal information: username, email address, and password. You can also add social links and view your achievements.
- Change your username (must be unique)
- Update your email (requires verification)
- Change your password (requires current password)
- Google-linked accounts can add a password for email login
Security
Protect your account with two-factor authentication (2FA), manage active login sessions, and delete your account.
- 2FA — Enable TOTP-based 2FA using an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.). See Setting Up 2FA
- Active Sessions — View all devices currently logged into your account. Revoke any session you don't recognize. See Managing Active Sessions
- Delete Account — Permanently delete your account and all data. See Account Deletion
Privacy
Control your data, retention, cookie preferences, and exports. Every control on the Privacy page saves on change — there's no Save button.
- Profile Visibility & Public Data — Who can see your profile, stats, achievements, and trading history
- Activity Visibility — Online status and last-seen toggles
- Cookie Preferences — Analytics and marketing cookie toggles
- System Data Retention — Configure how long login history, old sessions, and activity logs are kept
- Plan-Based Retention — FREE: screenshots archived after 6 months, records after 24 months (30-day recovery); PRO: unlimited
- Export Data — Opens a dedicated page where you pick categories (trades, journal, strategies, protocols, goals, accounts, settings, profile, sync, backtesting, invoices), optionally include screenshots, and download as JSON or CSV. Rate-limited to one export every 5 minutes.
Notifications
Choose which notifications you receive and how.
- Email notifications for account events (Auto-Sync disconnect, security alerts)

API
Manage API keys for external integrations.
- Generate and manage your API key
- Download the browser extension to sync TradingView trades
Billing
Manage your subscription plan.
- View your current plan (FREE or PRO)
- Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel
- Start a 7-day free trial
- View billing history and invoices

Preferences
General Preferences
Global display settings that affect the entire app.
- Timezone — Your local timezone for displaying trade times. See Timezone & Time Format
- Time Format — 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour clock
- Currency — Display currency for P&L values
- Default Account — Which account loads when you open the app
Theme
Customize the look of your app.
- Dark/Light Mode — Switch between dark and light themes
- Accent Color — Change the primary color used for buttons and highlights
- P&L Colors — Custom colors for win, loss, and breakeven trades
- Presets — Save and load color presets

AI Consent
Grant or revoke consent for AI features and review the data-sharing policy for each AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic). Required before any AI feature can run. Revoking here disables all AI immediately.
AI Settings
Configure all AI-powered features (only accessible after AI consent is granted).
- AI Correction — Spelling, grammar, smart marking, and custom instructions for journal notes
- AI Chat — Default model selection for Tradavity AI. The chat automatically uses your timezone and P&L colors when formatting responses.
- Usage Overview — Current month's token and budget usage across providers
Trading
Accounts
Create and manage your trading accounts. Each account represents a separate broker account or trading context.
- Create, edit, archive, and delete accounts
- Set broker, currency, breakeven offsets, and color tags
- Sync — Import trades via CSV or Auto-Sync

Copy Trading
Group multiple accounts together so trades copy between them automatically.
- Create groups with Master, Any to All, or Manual copy modes
- Set quantity multipliers per account
- Sync historical trades and link matching trades

Calculations
Control which trade metrics are auto-calculated when you add or edit a trade.
- Toggle auto-calculation for: Gross P&L, Net P&L, Total Points, Holding Time, Expected R:R, Realized R:R
- These settings apply to both manual entry and CSV import

Order Grouping
How individual executions from broker CSV exports are grouped into trades.
- Grouping Mode — Flat-to-Flat, Per Order, or Time Window
- Merge Partial Fills — Combine fills at the same price
- Same Direction Only — Split on direction change

Tags
Create and manage tags to categorize your trades.
- Create tags with custom names and colors

Trade Templates
Set default values for the trade entry form so you don't have to fill in the same fields every time.
- Trade Defaults — Default asset type, direction, quantity

- Mindset Defaults — Default confidence, emotional state

CSV Schemas
Create custom CSV import schemas for brokers not in the built-in list.
- Define column mappings, delimiter, date format, and direction values
- Upload sample CSV and broker logo
- Up to 10 custom schemas per account
