TradingView Import Guide
This guide shows you how to export your trades from TradingView Paper Trading and import them into Tradavity.
Tradavity supports Balance History and Order History exports from TradingView.
This guide is for TradingView's Paper Trading feature. For real broker trades connected through TradingView, export directly from your broker.
Step 1: Open TradingView Chart
Open any chart in TradingView and make sure you're logged in.
Step 2: Open Paper Trading Panel
Click Paper Trading at the bottom of the chart to open the trading panel.
Step 3: Enable All Columns
Click the three-dot menu on the right side and enable all columns by checking all boxes. This ensures your export has all required data.
Step 4: Export Data
Click on the Paper Trading logo text, then click Export data.
Step 5: Choose Export Type and Export
In the popup, choose Order History or Balance History, then click Export. The CSV file will download to your computer.
- Balance History - Pre-matched trades with P&L (recommended)
- Order History - Individual orders with fill data
Importing into Tradavity
Step 6: Open Add Trade
In Tradavity, click Add Trade in the sidebar.
Step 7: Select Asset Type and Import CSV
Select the appropriate asset type (Futures, Stocks, Forex, Crypto), then click Import CSV.
Step 8: Select TradingView and Export Type
Select TradingView from the broker list, then choose the matching export type (Balance History or Order History).
Step 9: Upload Your File
Drag and drop your CSV file, or click to browse and select it.
Step 10: Review and Import
Review the parsed trades in the preview. Select the trades you want to import, then click Import Selected.
Troubleshooting
Import fails
- Make sure you enabled all columns before exporting
- Verify you selected the correct export type (Balance History vs Order History)
Real broker trades
This guide is for Paper Trading only. If you trade with a real broker through TradingView, export directly from your broker's platform.
